Having received advice on my project from the gurus this week I presented my progress to my tutors and critical group for further feedback. What I had ultimately realised about my project after speaking to the gurus about it was that I was not content with the amount of research I had done, and so I became keen to go out and speak to guitar players for further insight. In addition it was recommended to me that in order to understand the context in which the product will be used I should map out the conversation luthiers have with their customers, meaning that I should also consider speaking to more luthiers.
With all of the advice I have been given I must be careful and selective as to what I take forward, as I have a limited amount of time before my final concept is expected. Over the coming weeks I will have to select a few thoughts that are most useful to me and see them through to the best of my ability. By doing this I will hopefully be able to create a final concept which addresses a clearly defined issue in the best way possible and is backed up by thorough research.
